There are 58 sports-oriented groups and 70 cultural groups at Osaka University.
Seven Universities Meets
The Seven Universities Athletic Meet is an athletic meet consisting of 42 events sponsored by 7 major national universities. This athletic meet is also commonly known as Nanadai-sen.
The member universities (from north to south): Hokkaido University, Tohoku University, The University of Tokyo, Nagoya University, Kyoto University, Osaka University, and Kyushu University.
