This facility is intended for Osaka University faculty, staff, and students, patients being treated at Osaka University Hospital/Osaka University Dental Hospital, visitors with a definite purpose and/or their family members who stay less than 60 nights.

Changing your reservation (dates, etc.)

• Note that once you have made your reservation, it cannot be changed on the system. If you must change your reservation, first please cancel the original reservation and then make a new reservation. Please be aware that you may not be able to make a reservation according to your original itinerary.

Kasugaoka House overview

Reception hours: 8:00am ~ 9:00pm (excluding the New Year holidays from 12/29~1/3)

Check-in

• Please check-in between 3:00pm and 9:00pm.

Check-out

• Please check-out between 8:00 am and 10:00 am.
  *Individuals checking out before 8:00 am must contact the Manager's Office in advance and leave their key in the key box located in front of the Manager's Office when checking out.

Length of stay

• Up to 2 months from your check-in date until your check-out date. (e.g. April 1 (check-in) ~ June 1 (check-out))
  • Note: Guests cannot stay at these facilities during the New Year holidays (12/29~1/3).

Reservation window

• You can apply anywhere from 6 months to the day before the first day of your stay.

Payment

Payment in full for the number of days you will stay should be made by a credit card at the time of check-in at the front desk.

Those without a credit card are asked to pay via transfer to a designated university account. (Transfer fees must also be paid at the guest's expense.) For more information, please ask the manager at the office.

・If you cannot/do not pay, then the school or facility you are associated with will be expected to pay on your behalf.

・Those who wish to have their fees covered by subsidies for operational costs or grants-in-aid for scientific research are requested to make an accommodation reservation and apply to the accountant clerk at their host school or research institute using the forms linked below.

・Room fees will not be refunded.

Room type: S Type (21 rooms)

Furnishings in the rooms: TV, AC, refrigerator, hair dryer, desk, towels, Wi-Fi

Shared facilities: lounge, laundry room (free washing machine/dryer (2 units))

Cancellation fees

To cancel, please perform the required procedures on the reservation system by the day before your stay. As per the cancellation policy, cancellations made on or after the day of your planned occupancy will incur a fee equivalent to the rental fee per night cancelled.

• Cancellations on the day of your stay: 100% of the accommodation fee
• No-shows: 100% of the accommodation fee

Kasugaoka House Cancellation Policy

• The manager at the Kasugaoka House is English-capable.
• There is no parking available, so please utilize public transportation such as trains or buses when visiting these facilities.
• For security reasons, doors are equipped with an autolock (except guest room doors).
• Please note that this is a non-smoking facility. (Smoking space is located outside of the building.)
• Internet may be used free of charge.
• Towels and a bath mat are changed once a day and bed sheets are changed once every 3 days.
• Toothbrushes, shampoo, rinse, and body wash are not provided.
• The lounge has a toaster and microwave oven for your use at no extra charge.
• Indoor clothes drying poles, desk lamps, irons, and ironing boards are available for rent (please make your request to the House Manager's Office).

Osaka Monorail

From Bampaku Kinen Koen Station: Take the train bound for Saito-nishi Station. Get off at Handai-byoin-mae Station. The Kasugaoka House is a 5-minute walk from the station.

Kintetsu Bus

From Hankyu Ibaraki-shi Station or JR Ibaraki Station: Take the Route 24 bus bound for Handai-Hombu-Mae or Mihogaoka, or the Route 25 bus bound for Handai-Hombu-Mae. Get off at the Handai-Igakubu-Byoin-Mae bus stop. The Kasugaoka House is a 5-minute walk from the bus stop.　　　　

Hankyu Bus

From Senri-Chuo: Take the Route 164/171 bus bound for Handai-Hombu-Mae, or the Route 103/105 bus bound for Ibaraki-Mihogaoka. Get off at the Handai-Igakubu-Byoin-Mae bus stop. The Kasugaoka House is a 5-minute walk from the bus stop.

From Kita-Senri: Take the Route 72 bus bound for Senri Chuo. Get off at the Handai-Igakubu-Byoin-Mae bus stop. The Kasugaoka House is a 5-minute walk from the bus stop.
