On October 8, 2025, Her Excellency Ms. Viktoria Li, Ambassador of Sweden, and Her Excellency Ms. Johanna Lindquist, Minister-Counsellor, visited Professor SAKAGUCHI Shimon, Distinguished Honorary Professor of the University of Osaka, and the 2025 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine laureate.
Her Excellency Viktoria Li conveyed her heartfelt congratulations to Distinguished Honorary Professor Sakaguchi and presented him with a commemorative bouquet of flowers.
Distinguished Honorary Professor Sakaguchi's wife, Noriko, and the Senior Executive Vice President, Yasushi Fujio, also attended the meeting. It was a truly meaningful occasion filled with warmth and smiles throughout.
