Reservations for the Osaka University International House, Suita

A new reservation system, Reserve Gate, was implemented on March 29, 2023.
For reservations, please refer to the following when making your reservation via this system.

Points of Caution

Eligibility for use

  1. OU faculty and staff and their families
  2. Visitors and their families who have a definite purpose
  3. Patients treated at Osaka University Hospital/Osaka University Dental Hospital and their families
  4. OU students and their families

Please provide the following when making a reservation:

  • Name of the person making the reservation
  • Telephone number
  • Availability for a phone call
  • Email address (PC or smart phone)
    • Make sure that the email address field is filled with the correct address. If you don’t receive a confirmation email, please contact us via the contact information listed below. (Make sure to also check your spam folder as it may have been filtered in error.)
  • Name(s) of the guest(s)
  • Address(es) of the guest(s)
  • Planned check-in time
  • Guest eligibility (select from the above Eligibility list)
  • Purpose and point of contact at OU

If more than one person is sharing a room...

If more than one person will share a room, please enter the name and relationship of a representative of the group when making a reservation. *Only family members may share a room.

When checking in, please provide the names and relationships of all guests who will be staying in the room. (When someone else checks in for you, they are asked to do the same.)

Reservations

  • If you wish to check in outside of the reception hours (10:00 a.m. ~ 4:00 p.m.), please check in during the reception hours and receive the key. (Someone else can check in for you.)
    • Note: Depending on room availability, early check-in may not be available.
  • You cannot check in or check out during the summer holidays as the manager will be out of the office. While it is possible to select these dates to check in/out on the system itself, you will be unable to actually do so.
    • However, you can stay during the summer holidays. For instance, this year (summer holidays: 8/11~8/16), it is possible to check in on August 10 and check out on August 17.
  • You cannot stay at this facility during the New Year’s holiday. While it is possible to select these dates to check in/out on the system itself, you will be unable to actually do so.
  • You can stay up to two months from the check-in date until the check-out date. If you book a room for more than 2 months, you will receive a cancellation notification (your booking will become void).

Cancellations

Cancellations can be made on the Reserve Gate until the day before your stay, but if you wish to cancel on the day of your stay, please contact us by phone.
