Reponsibilities
Administrative duties at the University of Osaka (educational planning, student support, international planning, research promotion, industry-university co-creation, community-university co-creation, public relations, general affairs, management planning, personnel affairs, finance/accounting, improvement of information infrastructure, hospital operations, URAs, etc.)
Qualifications
Individuals who were born on or after April 2, 1991 (including those who will graduate in the AY2026)
*In order to provide opportunities for career development over an extended period, we are looking for applicants who fall in the age range noted above. (Article 9 and Item 3-(a), Paragraph 1, Article 1-3 of the Act on Comprehensive Promotion of Labor Measures and Stabilization of Employment of Employees and Enrichment of Their Working Lives)
Limited term full-time/part-time staff employed by the University of Osaka as of April 1, 2026, and who were born on or after April 2, 1986.
*Those working as designated staff at UOsaka after April 1, 2025, will not be able to take the exam.
Provisions for Disqualification
Individuals who fall under the following cannot take the examination.
- Individuals who are serving a prison sentence, individuals on probation, and individuals who are serving any other sentence
- Individuals who have formed or belong to a political party or other organization that advocates subversion of the Constitution of Japan and/or any government bodies established therein
- Individuals who do not hold a status of residence in Japan that allows for unrestricted work activity (This does not include individuals who are able to acquire a status of residence that allows them to work at the University of Osaka from the starting date.)

Employment Terms
8 hours/day, 5 days/week (not including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays)
Working Hours: 8:30~17:15
Break Time: 12:15~13:00
(However, employees may be required to work overtime and on holidays.)

Salary and Benefits
Base salary will be decided based on personal history:
Individuals hired immediately after obtaining their bachelor’s degree
232,000 yen (base salary) + 27,840 yen (regional allowance) = 259,840 yen
Individuals hired immediately after obtaining their master’s degree or individuals with ~2 years work experience after obtaining their bachelor’s degree
242,000 yen (base salary) + 29,040 yen (regional allowance) = 271,040 yen
Allowances: commuting, housing, family, overtime
Bonuses: year-end, performance (June, December)
Raises: Generally, raises are given on January 1 based on performance during the previous year.

Selection Process
After screening application forms, we will be holding group and individual interviews.
The first of these interviews are scheduled to take place between late May and early June 2026.
*Interviews for individuals who will graduate during AY2026 will be held from early June.
Results of document screening will be sent to the email address you registered in your preliminary application.
