Technical work
Improvement, maintenance and management of facilities, including designing, planning, construction, improvement, maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment, and environment improvement
Qualifications
Individuals must meet the following requirements:
- Possess a passion and desire to engage in work at university facilities
- Born on or after April 2, 1994 (including those who will graduate in the 2024-25 academic year)

Provisions for Disqualification
Individuals who fall under the following cannot take the examination.
- Individuals who are serving a prison sentence, individuals on probation, and individuals who are serving any other sentence
- Individuals who have formed or belong to a political party or other organization that advocates subversion of the Constitution of Japan and/or any government bodies established therein
- Individuals who do not hold a status of residence in Japan that allows for unrestricted work activity (This does not include individuals who are able to acquire a status of residence that allows them to work at Osaka University from the starting date.)

Employment Terms
8 hours/day, 5 days/week (not including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays)
Working Hours: 8:30~17:15
Break Time: 12:15~13:00
(However, employees may be required to work overtime and on holidays.)
Employees can take annual leave according to the “Regulations Pertaining to Working Hours, Holidays and Leave for National University Corporation Osaka University Staff.”

Salary and Benefits
Base salary will be decided based on personal history:
Individuals hired immediately after obtaining their bachelor’s degree
196,200 yen (base salary) + 23,544 yen (regional allowance) = 219,744 yen
Individuals hired immediately after obtaining their master’s degree or individuals with ~2 years work experience after obtaining their bachelor’s degree
208,000 yen (base salary) + 24,960 yen (regional allowance) = 232,960 yen
Allowances: commuting, housing, family, overtime
Bonuses: terminal allowance, performance bonus (June, December)
Raises: Generally, raises are given on January 1 based on performance during the previous year.

Content: Explanation of job duties, facility tour, etc.
