Points of Caution
Eligibility for use
- UOsaka faculty and staff and their families
- Visitors and their families who have a definite purpose
- Patients treated at the University of Osaka Hospital/ the University of Osaka Dental Hospital and their families
- UOsaka students and their families
Please provide the following when making a reservation:
- Name of the person making the reservation
- Telephone number
- Availability for a phone call
- Email address (PC or smart phone)
*Make sure that the email address field is filled with the correct address. If you don’t receive a confirmation email, please contact us via the contact information listed below. (Make sure to also check your spam folder as it may have been filtered in error.) - Name(s) of the guest(s)
- Address(es) of the guest(s)
- Planned check-in time
- Guest eligibility (select from the above Eligibility list)
- Purpose and point of contact at UOsaka
If more than one person is sharing a room...
If more than one person will share a room, please enter the name and relationship of a representative of the group when making a reservation. *Only family members may share a room.
When checking in, please provide the names and relationships of all guests who will be staying in the room. (When someone else checks in for you, they are asked to do the same.)
Reservations
If you wish to stay at Machikaneyama Kaikan, please make your reservation through the “Accommodation Reservation System”.
*With the launch of the new system, please contact the Manager's Office by email if you need to cancel a reservation made through the old system.
- If you wish to check in outside of reception hours (10:00 a.m. ~ 4:00 p.m.), please check in during reception hours and receive the key. (Someone else can check in for you.)
*Note: Depending on room availability, early check-in may not be available.
- Machikaneyama Kaikan is closed during the following two periods: the summer holiday period (August 10 to 15) and the New Year’s holiday period (December 29 to January 3). Check-in and check-out are not possible either during these times.
- Please make your reservation at least 3 business days prior to your intended date of stay (excluding weekends and public holidays). If, due to special circumstances, you wish to make a reservation two days to one day before your stay begins, please contact us via the contact information listed below.

Cancellations

・Please make sure to cancel your reservation through the "Accommodation Reservation System” by the day before your check-in date.
