Framework Plan for Barrier-free Design and Sign System

Here you can download the enlarged and revised edition of the Framework Plan for Barrier-free Design and Sign System that was formulated in March 2008. These guidelines, describing important factors in accessibility, are made up of three sections: barrier-free design guidelines, guidelines for placement of signs, and building signage guidelines.

Osaka University strives to make the campuses accessible to all people so that the elderly, children, people with special needs, and individuals not able to read Japanese can easily find their way whether in a wheelchair, walking, riding on a bicycle or riding in a car.
