Homecoming Day is an event for everyone in the "OU Family," including students, alumni, and staff from Osaka University and Osaka University of Foreign studies, to come together and deepen their friendships.

This year, for the 14th Homecoming Day, we'll welcome Tomoko Lumpkin, a renowned conference interpreter known for her work in Japan-U.S. Summit Meetings .

Ms. Lumpkin will cover topics such as "what kind of profession is conference interpretation/simultaneous interpretation?" and "how did you improve your English?" so those who wish to become interpreters in the future or just have an interest in interpretation are encouraged to attend!

The Icho Festival will also be taking place on Homecoming Day, so please enjoy an exciting day on campus!
