2022-2023 Collaborative Exhibits “Records and Recollections Connecting the Past and Present of Osaka and the Hokusetsu Region” (February 1 ~ February 14, 2023)

The Association of Management and Preservation of Archival Materials holds joint exhibitions of documents and photos owned by participating municipal governments under a specific theme on a regular basis. We hope that this exhibition will provide you a chance to enjoy the history connecting the past with the present and understand the significance of keeping records.

Theme 1: Records of Urban Scenery in Osaka and the Hokusetsu Region

Overview: This exhibit showcases photos taken in the Hokusetsu region and at Osaka University in the past to show the relationship between people and their communities.

Theme 2: Railroads and Railroad Stations in Osaka and the Hokusetsu Region

Overview: This exhibit shows how the railroads affected with the growth of cities and industries by showing changes in areas along the railroads.

Exhibitors: Toyonaka City, Suita City, Minoh City, Ikeda City, Osaka University Archives
