Department of Safety and Hygiene

Osaka University established the Department of Safety and Hygiene to manage safety and hygiene at the university. This department conducts regulatory inspections and compliance inspections, responds to accidents, gathers information about these accidents, and provides safety management training. The Department of Safety and Hygiene responds to each situation with voluntary efforts by faculty members in the department as well as support from the Office for Safety and Hygiene in the Department of General Affairs, while also engaging in safety and hygiene activity jointly with centers and committees on campus.
