UOsaka signs collaboration and cooperation agreement with the Kinki Regional Development Bureau, MLIT
With the goal of contributing to the maintenance and development of local communities, UOsaka and the Kinki Regional Development Bureau, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) agreed to strengthen their collaboration and cooperation and signed a partnership agreement on July 27, 2026.
This agreement is founded on the longstanding trust and collaborative achievements shared by the two parties and seeks to create a stronger and more organized framework for ongoing cooperation.
To date, we have promoted collaborative research activities aimed at building a more resilient nation through the development and maintenance of social infrastructure, primarily through the Sustainable Infrastructure Research Center of the Graduate School of Engineering.
Through the collaborative framework established under this agreement, the two parties will further deepen their activities and aim to contribute to solving societal challenges and promoting the sustainable development of local communities.
