Headphone borrowing for the English listening section of the 2027 Common Test for University Admission

Headphones for the English listening section of the 2027 Common Test for University Admission will be lent on request.

If you wish to wear headphones during the above test instead of earphones to be distributed during the test (because your earbuds might not stay in your ears), please set up an appointment within the specified period.

Where and How?

If you wish to set up an appointment, please contact the Admission Division by email or phone, fill out an Application Form downloaded from the National Center for University Entrance Examinations website (link in Japanese), and then submit it to the division upon your visit.

The procedure can be completed at the admissions office of any university that uses the Common Test for University Admissions. Please contact the university closest to you, which can be found using the link below listing universities that use the Common Test for University Admissions.

Application Period: Monday, August 3 – Friday, October 16, 2026 (Excluding weekends, holidays, or the summer holiday period from Wednesday, August 12 – Friday, August 14)
