Notice on the Introduction of Convenience Store Certificate Issuance Services and the Introduction of Fees for Certificate Issuance and Student ID Reissuance (Magnetic Card)
The University of Osaka will introduce a “Certificate Issuance Service” starting on January 4, 2027 (scheduled).
With this service, users will be able to:
- Apply for various certificates for current and former students of the University of Osaka via a dedicated webpage.
- Obtain requested certificates through multi-copy machines at 7-Eleven, FamilyMart, and Lawson stores nationwide (hereinafter referred to as "convenience stores") or in a digital certificate format, in addition to the existing methods of on-campus automatic certificate issuing machines, postal mail, and university counters (Note 1)
Coinciding with the launch of this service, fees will be charged for certificate issuance and student ID reissuance starting January 4, 2027, as outlined in the table below. We kindly appreciate your understanding.
Please note that applications for certificate issuance by postal mail (Note 2) that are postmarked on or before January 3, 2027, will be accepted, and the requested certificates will be issued free of charge.
Further details regarding this service will be announced separately on the University website.

[Important] Additional paper costs apply for certificates issued at convenience stores, and additional postage costs apply for certificates delivered by postal mail.
(Note 1) Receiving methods marked with “-” in the table are not available.
(Note 2) From January 4, 2027, onwards, certificate issuance applications must be submitted via the dedicated webpage. However, current students using on-campus automatic certificate issuing machines are not required to submit an application through the dedicated webpage.
(Note 3) Student Travel Fare Discount Certificates (Gakuwari Certificate) can only be obtained via the on-campus automatic certificate issuing machines.
