Title of UOsaka Distinguished Professor awarded to two professors

The title of UOsaka Distinguished Professor was awarded to Professor IWAI Daisuke (Graduate School of Engineering Science) and Professor NISHIDA Kohji (Graduate School of Medicine).

This title is awarded to UOsaka professors and previous holders of the title of UOsaka Distinguished Professor who have received prestigious awards and served a pioneering role in the promotion of education, research, and social contribution at the university.

On November 28, the award ceremony for the title of UOsaka Distinguished Professor was held in the President's Office on the university’s Suita Campus, where the title recipients were given a commemorative plaque from President Kumanogoh.
