Nakanoshima Center Specially Open to Public at Open House Osaka 2025
On October 25 and 26, 2025, Nakanoshima Center participated in the Open House Osaka 2025.
Located in Nakanoshima, the place of origin of the University of Osaka, the Nakanoshima Center offered diverse programs, including a special talk seminar exploring the appeal of modern architecture in Nakanoshima, a special opening of the top-floor “Saji Keizo Memorial Hall,” and the “Memories of the Nakanoshima Campus Exhibition” reflecting on the former Nakanoshima Campus. About 320 individuals attended on the 25th, while around 310 visited on the 26th, making for a total of nearly 630 attendees over the course of the two days, which really livened up the event.
Nakanoshima Center, conceived as a global hub for society-university co-creation, art, and industry-university co-creation where 4 types of knowledge (culture, art, science, and technology) intersect, will continue to serve as a knowledge hub connecting the local community and the world.
