The University of Osaka Tokyo Office Relocation Event Held
On July 30, 2025, the University of Osaka Tokyo Office held its relocation commemorative event to mark its move from the Nittochi Building in Kasumigaseki to T-LITE in Toranomon. In addition to members from alumni associations, President Atsushi Kumanogoh and Senior Executive Vice President Yasushi Fujio were in attendance. The event succeeded in extensively publicizing the relocation of the Tokyo Office, which will serve as the university's operational base in Tokyo and a hub for revitalizing the graduate network in the greater Tokyo metropolitan area.
During the lecture, President Atsushi Kumanogoh delivered a lecture entitled “The University of Osaka: Live Locally, Grow Globally.” In addition to an update on the university’s recent activities, he reflected on his own student days, attracting keen interest from the alumni attendees. Furthermore, Senior Executive Vice President Fujio gave a lecture under the theme of “Building the Future of the University of Osaka with Alumni,” where he introduced not only the enhancement of the operations at the Tokyo Office but also its activities intended for alumni, such as sharing information and fostering alumni community. They then engaged in a lively Q&A session regarding the use of the Tokyo Office and its activities in Tokyo.
