Professor Emeritus MAJIMA Junko receives the Commissioner for Cultural Affairs Award
On December 17, 2024, during the Commissioner for Cultural Affairs Award ceremony, Osaka University Professor Emeritus MAJIMA Junko (Graduate School of Language and Culture) were honored.
This award is conferred to individuals who have made distinguished accomplishments in artistic and cultural activities and those who have made contributions to sharing Japanese culture with the world and international cultural exchange.
Professor Emeritus Majima engaged in the development of Japanese language education professionals and research and practice in Japanese language teaching. Her great contributions to promoting Japanese language educational policies as well as her achievements in compiling reports of the Japanese Language Subcommittee of the Council for Cultural Affairs using her knowledge and experience as a researcher in Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) were recognized with the Commissioner for Cultural Affairs Award.
