Four OU Faculty Members Awarded 21st JSPS Prize
On Thursday, December 19, the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science announced the recipients of the 21st JSPS Prize, with 4 Osaka University faculty members receiving the prize.
The JSPS Prize was established with the aim of developing the level of research in Japan at the world’s highest level by discovering young researchers with outstanding, creative research ability and recognizing their achievements from the early stages of their careers in order to foster their motivation for and support the development of their research.
25 individuals were chosen to receive this award in the fields of humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences.
The award ceremony for the JSPS Prize will take place in February 2025 at the Japan Academy (Tokyo).
