Title of Osaka University Distinguished Professor awarded to four professors

The title of Osaka University Distinguished Professor was awarded to Professor MAEKAWA Takuya (Institute for Advanced Co-Creation Studies), Professor YAMAMURA Kazuya (Graduate School of Engineering), Professor TADAKUMA Kenjiro (Graduate School of Engineering Science), Professor MUROOKA Takeshi (Institute of Social and Economic Research).

This title is awarded to Osaka University professors and previous holders of the title of Osaka University Distinguished Professor who have received prestigious awards and served a pioneering role in the promotion of education, research, and social contribution at the university.

On Wednesday, November 27, the award ceremony for the title of Osaka University Distinguished Professor was held in the President's Office on Osaka University's Suita Campus, where the title recipients were given a commemorative plaque from President Nishio.
