QIQB to Create the 2025 Science & Technology Poster for Every Household: “Quantum Technology -- 100 Year History of Quantum Computing”

In line with the Science & Technology Week, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) creates the annual S&T poster for everyone “One S&T Poster for Every Household” so that people can learn about science & technology and get interested in it.

From Osaka University, the Center for Quantum Information and Quantum Biology (QIQB) and the Creative Unit of the Office for Public Relations and Brand Strategy will take part in planning and creating the 2025 poster "Quantum Technology -- 100 Year History of Quantum Computing.”

The poster will be completed at the end of AY2024 and will be distributed at elementary, junior high, and high schools as well as science museums and other museums throughout Japan, so we hope you’ll be looking forward to it.

QIQB consists of six research groups: Quantum Computing, Quantum Information Fusion, Quantum Information Devices, Quantum Communications and Security, Quantum Measurement and Sensing, and Quantum Biology, promoting research in each field and transdisciplinary research among these fields as well as other academic fields.
