Dr. Wani makes an appearance at Suita Festa 2024

Osaka University’s official mascot Dr. Wani took part in Suita Festa 2024 held at the Expo ’70 Commemorative Park (Suita, Osaka) on Saturday, September 7, 2024.

Dr. Wani appeared in the Yuru-Chara (mascot character) event held during Suita Festa, where he joined with the other characters to mingle with visitors and liven up the event. At the Bon Odori Dance Festival following the mascot characters event, the crowd erupted when Dr. Wani made his surprise appearance.

Dr. Wani known for his sociable nature will continue to actively engage in various events with a great deal of curiosity.
