QuEL, Inc., a venture by Osaka University's Center for Quantum Information and Quantum Biology (QIQB), was nominated as a finalist for the 2024 Award for Academic Startups. QIQB was also jointly nominated as a supporting institution.
The details of the award are set to be announced at the award ceremony on August 22 at Tokyo Big Sight.

The Award for Academic Startups honors promising, excellent university startups, especially the ones based on research outcomes at universities and other institutions, and recognizes universities and companies that support the growth of such startups.
This award aims to promote the establishment of startups that make use of R&D outcomes at universities and other entities, assist startups to make challenging efforts, and encourage universities and companies to support university startups.
