OU tops in the incremental number of venture businesses in FY2023 Survey
Osaka University topped in the incremental number of venture businesses in the FY2023 Survey on University-Developed Venture Businesses (Preliminary Report) conducted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and published on May 15, 2024, with a year-on-year increase of 61.
The Osaka University Co-Creation Bureau, a liaison and command center involved in co-creation activity of the entire university, provides a wide range of support for starting venture businesses, such as support via internal and external grants, introducing management personnel, and providing mentoring and expert advice to students who are looking to start their own business.
