OU Students Receive Appreciation Letter from Moriguchi City for Providing Moral Support for Chronically Absent Students

Three OU students received a Letter of Appreciation from the Moriguchi City Borad of Education for their assistance in the Moriguchi City Student Friends Project.

This project helps students who are unable to attend school despite their wishes to learn by playing and studying together to become good listeners for them so that they can go back to school and become independent learners.

3 OU students helped chronically absent students get them back to school as student friends in this project:

• NOJIRI Tomoyo (graduate, Master's Program, Division of Arts Studies, Graduate School of Humanities)
• ICHIKAWA Tomoki (4th year, Department of Electronics and Materials Physics, School of Engineering Science)
• OHNO Kaya (graduate, Department of Thai, Division of Foreign Studies, School of Foreign Studies)
