No Border Fest in Minoh held

On March 30, 2024, in cooperation with the Osaka University Center for Japanese Language and Culture (CJLC), Minoh Semba Urban Development Committee, and Recruit Holdings Co., Ltd., Osaka University held the No Border Fest in Minoh for international students and local people to enjoy diversity. This year, OU will celebrate a significant milestone, marking 70 years of education of international students from more than 50 countries and regions, and on this day, the new station named Minoh-semba handai-mae Station opened.

International students from CJLC were involved in this event in various ways, such as creating and operating booths to experience different cultures around the world, participating in workshops to think about urban development with children of Minoh Semba, and guiding people to this event as student staff.

Some 1,000 people visited the venue on the day and many enjoyed interactions across national borders.
