Results of investigation into misconduct in research

A formal investigation panel established based on the “Regulations on promotion of fair research activities at Osaka University” has concluded that faculty members and a former graduate student were involved in research misconduct (falsification).

We deeply regret this incident and apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused.

The university takes this incident very seriously and will work to raise awareness of faculty members and graduate students about the importance of compliance and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
