30% Club Japan Nine University Heads Announce Commitment to Diversity in University Operations

Leaders of the nine universities in the 30% Club* Japan University Group, of which Osaka University is a member, announced their commitment to diversity in university operations. Leaders include eight presidents and one chancellor.

Details about their commitment can be found here.

*The 30% Club is a global business campaign that began in the UK in 2010 and aims to increase the number of women in board seats and executive leadership of companies. At least 30% female representation on boards and executive leadership teams is needed because this is the critical mass at which minority voices become heard. 30% Club Japan began its activities in 2019 and Osaka University is a member of the University Group.
