President Nishio offers his New Year’s Greeting

On Tuesday, January 16, President NISHIO Shojiro offered his New Year’s Greeting at the Education and Research Council Meeting. Looking back at the various endeavors carried out in 2023, President Nishio spoke about issues to be addressed in 2024 and direction to take for further development of the university.

He also said that it was important to discuss various important issues and never stop efforts to reform the university in order to become a top level university recognized on the global stage, calling for each member of the university to advance toward this goal with the Osaka University Charter in mind.
