A Feat 38 Years in the Making! Osaka University Tridents American Football Team Returns to KCAFL Division 1

In the Kansai Collegiate American Football League Promotion/Relegation Series held at Takebishi Stadium Kyoto on Saturday, December 16, the Osaka University Tridents (2nd place, Division 2) defeated the Konan University REDGANG (7th place, Division 1) by a score of 3-0, earning them a promotion to KCAFL's Division 1 for the first time in 38 years.

Next season, Osaka University will go up against Division 1 powerhouses like Kwansei Gakuin University, Ritsumeikan University, Kansai University, Kyoto University, Kindai University, Kobe University, and Momoyama Gakuin University.
