Professor HAYASHI Katsuhiko (Graduate School of Medicine) selected to Nature's 10

Professor HAYASHI Katsuhiko (Germline Genetics, Department of Genome Biology, Graduate School of Medicine) has been chosen by the science journal, Nature, as one of Nature's 10, ten people (and one non-human) who helped shape science in 2023.

Professor Hayashi’s research group succeeded in producing mouse pups using eggs made from stem cells of two male parents, a world first. This feat was highly recognized because it could help to save species on the brink of extinction.
