Title of Osaka University Distinguished Professor awarded to two professors

The title of Osaka University Distinguished Professor was awarded to Professor YAMAUCHI Kazuto of the Graduate School of Engineering and Endowed Research Chair Professor SEKIGUCHI Kiyotoshi of the Institute for Protein Research.

This title is awarded to Osaka University professors and previous holders of the title of Osaka University Distinguished Professor who have received prestigious awards and served a pioneering role in the promotion of education, research, and social contribution at the university.

On Wednesday, November 22, the award ceremony for the title of Osaka University Distinguished Professor was held in the President's Office on Osaka University's Suita Campus, where the title recipients were given a commemorative plaque from President Nishio.
