Osaka University Co-Creation Day @EXPOCITY: “Our Future is Under Construction!"

On Saturday, July 8, 2023, Osaka University Co-Creation Day @EXPOCITY was held at LaLaport EXPOCITY (Suita, Osaka), just like every other year.

Some 6000 visitors joined us for a great summer day of learning together and experiencing the fun of science and research.

This marks the 4th Co-Creation Day held under the agreement between OU and Mitsui Fudosan, following those held in 2018, 2019, and 2022.

Under the theme of “Our Future is Under Construction!”, this year's Co-Creation Day was held at the Hikari Plaza on the first floor, the Sora Plaza, and the EXPOCITY Lab on the third floor.

Osaka University introduced its latest research, co-creation efforts, and vision of a future society at its 19 exhibit booths.

This event allowed many visitors of all ages, nearly 3 times more than the previous year, to experience future society through live demos at booths. Visitors kept coming to our booths all day and the event ended on a highly positive note, with visitors expressing their satisfaction.
