OGATA Koan Memorial Lecture - Now available to view online!
Each year, a memorial lecture is held at Tekijuku around June 10 to remember the date of OGATA Koan's death on June 10, 1863. An important cultural property, Tekijuku was where late-Edo period doctor and Dutch scholar OGATA Koan practiced education and medicine. This memorial lecture is held to remember the teachings of the past and learn about the latest research results at Osaka University.
At the OGATA Koan Memorial Lecture held on Monday, June 5, Professor NISHIDA Kohji (Director, WPI Premium Research Institute for Human Metaverse Medicine (WPI-PRIMe)) delivered a lecture entitled "What is Human Metaverse Medicine? - Future Medical Treatment by Reproducing Life Phenomena and Disease Processes in a Virtual Space."
