[Important] Osaka Daigaku Information Network System (ODINS) Outage #2

Osaka University will be upgrading aged network equipment of ODINS throughout campus buildings according to the following schedule. This will be a total network outage for the affected areas listed below, including access to the internet or any other computer network.

*(1) and (2) below will occur during early morning work on May 16 and 17, while (3) ~ (6) will occur during work on May 20 between 12:00 ~ 7:00 am.

*This upgrade work may vary, depending on the situation .

Affected area: Suita Campus (The intranet and wireless LAN will be unavailable.)
Scheduled downtime: Tuesday, May 16 from 6:30~7:30 AM
Downtime duration: 10 minutes
Note: Departments that do not use the intranet will not be affected.

Affected area: University-wide (The intranet will be unavailable.)
Scheduled downtime: Wednesday, May 17 from 6:30~7:30 AM
Downtime duration: 20 minutes
Note: Departments that do not use the intranet will not be affected.

Affected area: University-wide (complete network outage)
Scheduled downtime: Saturday, May 20 from 12:00~1:10 AM
Downtime duration: 40 minutes

Affected area: Toyonaka Campus (complete network outage)
Scheduled downtime: Saturday, May 20 from 1:10~2:10 AM
Downtime duration: 20 minutes
