The following four members of Osaka University received the Medal of Honor with Purple Ribbon for Spring 2023.

The Medal of Honor with Purple Ribbon is awarded to individuals for their significant discoveries and inventions in science and technology and outstanding academic, sporting, cultural, and artistic achievements.
