12 OU researchers receive awards in the 2023 Commendations for Science and Technology

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) announced the recipients of the 2023 Commendations for Science and Technology.

In order to motivate individuals working in the fields of science and technology and contribute to the improvement of science and technology in Japan, MEXT awards the following prizes:

  • Awards for Science and Technology (in Development, Research, Science and Technology Promotion, Technology, and Public Understanding Promotion categories)
  • Young Scientists' Award
  • Award for Creativity
  • Outstanding Support for Research Award

This year, from Osaka University, 12 faculty members received awards.
