Back and better than ever! Reopening of the Nakanoshima Center
Osaka University Nakanoshima Center reopened on April 1, 2023 after a renovation to improve its function as a project to commemorate Osaka University’s 90th and Osaka University of Foreign Studies’ 100th anniversary.
The renovated Nakanoshima Center, located in Nakanoshima (the birthplace of Osaka University), will become a hub for globally connecting and disseminating four domains of knowledge (culture, art, science, and technology) through society-university co-creation and industry-university co-creation.
We will make this center a place for co-creation where we work with you, so please feel free to visit and make use of our facilities.
- Visitors are free to view the various academic specimens and art pieces related to Osaka University on display in the open spaces on the 1st and 2nd floors.
- Cafeteria Agora (2F) and Salon Agora (9F) are scheduled to open on Monday, April 24.
- You can also make use of these facilities for various lectures and symposiums. To make a reservation, click here.
