IDE Yosei, State Minister of MEXT, visits OU

IDE Yosei, State Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) visited Osaka University on Thursday, December 22 to see the Center for Quantum Information and Quantum Biology (QIQB) and the Institute of Laser Engineering (ILE).

In a guided tour of the superconducting quantum computing facilities and large-scale laser facilities, Mr. Ide had a lively exchange of opinions with the directors of these facilities regarding the current state and future prospects of quantum research and power laser research.
