President Nishio offers New Year’s Greetings

On Tuesday, January 17, President NISHIO Shojiro extended New Year’s greetings at an Education and Research Council Meeting, speaking about how Osaka University should be to achieve its goal of becoming a “University Dedicated to Creating a Society where Each Member Leads a Meaningful and Fulfilling Life” based on the OU Master Plan.

He expressed his determination to make 2023, the 20th anniversary of incorporation of the university, a year of challenge, one in which the university will take another significant step. He also stressed the importance of each and every OU member addressing social challenges with principles stated in the Osaka University Charter in mind so that the university will continue to be a university trusted by society.
