Professor OKADA Yukinori and Professor MATSUSHITA Yasuyuki selected to receive the 40th Osaka Science Prize

Professor OKADA Yukinori (Graduate School of Medicine) and Professor MATSUSHITA Yasuyuki (Graduate School of Information Science and Technology) were selected to receive the 40th Osaka Science Prize (2022-23).

Professor Okada was selected to receive this prize for “revealing pathology, pharmacogenomics, and personalized medicine by the use of genetic statistics.”

Professor Matsushita was selected to receive this prize for “pioneering research regarding 3D digitization of the real world.”

The Osaka Science Prize was established in 1983 by Osaka Prefecture, Osaka City, and Osaka Science and Technology Center (OSTEC). This prize is awarded to young researchers under 50 in the Kansai area who have made significant contributions to scientific research and development.
