Handling errors in a geography question paper in the 2022 February Entrance Examination

Errors were identified on a geography question paper in the 2022 February Entrance Examination.

As correctional measures to resolve this issue, the university marked all answers to the question correct, reviewed examination scores of all applicants again, and made the decision to accept an additional successful applicant to the School of Letters.

Osaka University deeply apologizes for any anxiety and distress caused to applicants and their families and will respond in good faith to any requests from the new successful applicant.

The university takes this situation very seriously and will do its utmost to prevent this sort of incident from happening again.
