Future Creative Invention Encouragement Award at the 2022 National Invention Awards for High-power DUV picosecond pulse laser -- OU’s fourth consecutive Invention Award

A group of researchers from Osaka University and Mitsubishi Electric's Industrial Mechatronics Systems Works won the Future Creative Invention Encouragement Award at the 2022 National Invention Awards for High-power DUV (deep ultraviolet) picosecond pulse laser.

The Future Creative Invention Encouragement Award is awarded to outstanding inventions by small and medium-sized enterprises, business ventures, universities, and public research institutes that have or are expected to have significant impact on the creation of a future society through their implementation.

In association with this award, Osaka University and Mitsubishi Electric Corporation received the “Future Creative Invention Contribution Award.” For Osaka University, this is the fourth Contribution Award in a row.
