Creating a New Concept of Humanities - Osaka University Graduate School of Humanities Opens Its Doors

On April 1, 2022, Osaka University opening its Graduate School of Humanities, which combines the former Graduate School of Letters and Graduate School of Language and Culture to form a brand-new graduate school consisting of 5 majors: Humanities, Language and Culture Studies, Foreign Studies, Japan Studies, and Arts.

This new graduate school will create a new concept of humanities, which will be a foundation of discipline to all fields of study at OU, both in liberal arts and science, and support our global society.
