Osaka University joins TEAM EXPO 2025 Program, a project for EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai, as co-creative partner
Osaka University has been officially registered with the TEAM EXPO 2025 Program, which was launched by the Japan Association for 2025 World Exposition, as a co-creative partner.

The TEAM EXPO 2025 Program is an initiative to create an ideal future society through cooperation among diverse participants and aims to realize the theme of EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai, “Designing Future Society for Our Lives,” as well as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), 17 SDGs set in 2015 by the United Nations General Assembly.
Using the SDGs as a roadmap to shape the future of humanity, OU will make efforts to achieve these 17 goals. As an educational and research institute, taking the opportunity of the EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai, the university will foster momentum towards achieving “Leaving no one behind,” a core principle of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. What's more, the university aims to realize “Future Society for Our Lives” in 2050, in which importance is placed on saving, empowering, and connecting lives.
