Award Ceremony held for the 2021-2022 Osaka University Prize

On Thursday, November 25, the Award Ceremony for the Osaka University Prize was held at the Icho Kaikan on Osaka University's Suita Campus. The Osaka University Prize is awarded to faculty and staff members at Osaka University for their outstanding contributions to university management, education, and research.

At the ceremony, granting commemorative plaques to the prize recipients, President Nishio praised their achievements and encouraged them by saying that as Osaka University celebrates the 90th anniversary of its founding this year, the tireless work of university members in education, research, and social contribution to respond to expectations from society will continue to drive the university to overcome difficulties in these uncertain times, including the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.
