Osaka University of Foreign Studies celebrates its 100th anniversary on November 11

November 11 is the anniversary of the founding of Osaka University of Foreign Studies.

Founded in 1921 as Osaka School of Foreign Languages in Uehonmachi, Osaka, OUFS celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2021.

OUFS was integrated into Osaka University on October 1, 2007 as its Minoh Campus, and moved to Semba from Aomadani, Minoh in April 2021.

Osaka University will open the Graduate School of Humanities in April 2022 in order to continue to develop researchers and highly-skilled professionals that will promote mutual international understanding right here in Osaka.
