Award Ceremony held for the 2020-2021 Osaka University Prize
On Thursday, November 26, the Award Ceremony for the Osaka University Prize was held at the Convention Center on Osaka University's Suita Campus. The Osaka University Prize is awarded to faculty and staff members at Osaka University for their outstanding contributions to university management, education, and research.
At the ceremony, granting commemorative plaques to the prize recipients, President Nishio praised their achievements and encouraged them by saying that Osaka University community members will work together for education, research, and social contribution in order to respond to expectations from society, which will drive the university to overcome difficulties in these uncertain times, including the current COVID-19 crisis.
