Regarding COVID-19 infections at Osaka University (2)

In addition to infections announced on Tuesday, November 11, 2020, 3 more students from the 16 students identified as high-risk contacts were found to have contracted the novel coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections to 13 as of 6:00 p.m., November 11.

The university has already instructed the students identified as high-risk contacts and those who have had close contact with these infected students to stay home for a specified period of time. These infections occurred after dining out in a group and the spread of infections on campus has not been confirmed.

The university will take necessary measures, including online classes, in order to prevent the spread of the virus.
