COVID-19 case at Osaka University Hospital

A staff member at Osaka University Hospital in their 20s has tested positive for COVID-19.

One other staff member was identified as a potential high-risk contact of the affected staff member, but a PCR test of this contact came back negative. No patients of the affected staff member were identified as being high-risk contacts.

All facilities that were utilized by the affected staff member have since been disinfected.
